By now you’ve probably heard of our study using the IonCleanse by AMD that showed a 38% overall improvement in MG symptoms in a 3 month period. (If you haven’t heard about the study, you can find the information and data by clicking here).
We continued to follow our participants for an additional 3 months, for a grand total of 6 months that just wrapped up. These were the results:
That’s right! A 59% average MG symptom improvement in 6 months!
There were other participants who continued to use the IonCleanse for the full six months that did not adhere to the exact study session protocol/schedule. All who completed the six months saw improvement, but not to the degree that those who followed the study protocol achieved. There appears to be a strong correlation between not missing IonCleanse sessions and seeing the most overall improvement.
(Study protocol/session schedule information is included in the first whitepaper release, which is available here. The session schedule moving forward for the remaining 3 months *after* completing the gradual-start, was as follows: one 45 minute IonCleanse session every 3rd day.)
As most people know, the patented technology and made-in-the-USA medical-grade equipment that is the IonCleanse Solo at $1,995 does not come cheap. I know that I personally have found the benefits of the IonCleanse to be worth every penny, in my life and my family member’s lives. Also, I felt secure knowing that the product came with safety history, a A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and a full money-back guarantee. But, that still didn’t make the funds easy to come by for my family. In fact, there was a time when I thought it was something I’d never be able to try.
When explaining to others how I understand the financial aspect of purchasing an IonCleanse, I often share that I understand, because the IonCleanse is worth more than my vehicle. People like to giggle at me when I say that, but it’s true. LOL! If you have any doubts, I’d like to introduce you to the Subaru Forester that I have owned for 17 years:
My point is, my family had to save (and pray!) for quite some time to be able to purchase an IonCleanse for my daughter, and quite a few BIG miracles had to happen for us to be able to get one for her. But I’d read the autism studies and I’d had personal friends whose children with autism had their lives dramatically changed using the IonCleanse by AMD and I wanted to move heaven and earth to bring that chance to my little girl who was struggling with severe autism.
As sick as I was, I decided to try it on myself too. That is when I found out how much of a positive impact it had on my MG, which caused me to approach AMD about WWMG doing an informal, investigative MG study using their product.
I’ve been so pleased with the results, not only for myself and the study participants, but also for the MGers who have been reporting back positive changes in their MG symptoms after they purchased an IonCleanse following the release of our 3 month study results. But I also know how many have told me that they wished they could give it a try, but are working on saving up the money. That is something I completely understand.
So I am very very very excited to share with you, in honor of MG Awareness Month….. IonCleanse by AMD has generously announced that they are going to give away an IonCleanse Solo (the exact product we used in our MG study) to an individual with MG FOR FREE (This is a $1995 value!).
To enter, all you need to do is visit the IonCleanse by AMD for MG facebook user group that we created to share info on the IonCleanse and follow the directions to leave an entry comment on the giveaway post. If you aren’t already a member of the user group, send a request to join and one of the admins there will approve you in. The giveaway thread will stay open all month, and the drawing will take place on June 30th, 2017.
I want to thank AMD so much for this wonderful opportunity, both in supplying rental machines for use during the study and for this generous gift in honor of MG Awareness Month!
*No study participant, nor anyone from WWMG, or myself were paid to participate in the study.* The study was originated by WWMG, not AMD. I saw the changes in my life and wanted to know if I was a “fluke”, or if others might see similar improvements in their MG. I now feel confident in saying the IonCleanse by AMD can be a useful tool in helping improve life with Myasthenia Gravis. It is NOT a cure. But I feel so blessed to have been a part of this and getting to see others experiencing the positive changes in their lives that I have experienced. I paid for my family’s IonCleanse in full. I am super excited to see someone be gifted this opportunity!
You all know that I spend a great deal of time each MG Awareness Month pushing increased awareness and advocacy. But this year I’d also like to see more MGers be able to DO MORE and ENJOY MORE of the things that they used to do, before MG.
If you are interested in learning more, come join us and get entered in the drawing!
What an awesome way to kick of MG month!
